2 Quick Lessons From Simplifying

There are quite a few lessons I have learned since starting our “clutter free” journey. Here are two recent ones:

When you have less stuff…

  1. There are fewer things to clean.
  2. There are fewer places for bugs to live.

Now, I’m not saying your house will be bug-less. I heard some say we need bugs in our lives…I’m not sure who these people are but I’m okay if they come take them from my house. BUT with less stuff, there will be fewer areas for buggity-bugs to hid and breed? Is that what they do?

I won’t go into detail (because BLECK!) but here’s a tip for ya, always be careful when you open a box that has not seen the light of day for more than a few months (or days or years…whatever applies to your situation). We have many of these types of boxes…ones we can’t even get to because (fill in an excuse here, any will do and will probably apply to our situation).

What tips do you have when it comes to simplifying? Or do you have any fun discoveries when opening up boxes?

One of my favorites because it really addresses the heart issues of clutter, not just that we have it and need to get rid of it. >>> *amzn.to/2iQC3g0

*Simply Clean: The Proven Method for Keeping Your Home Organized, Clean, and Beautiful in Just 10 Minutes a Day by Becky Rapinchuk
