While I love a good team/organization vision and seeing the big picture of things, I’m usually not the one to first come up with the vision. I can get with the details and the day-to-day tasks to make the vision happen. I don’t have an organization to grow but I love to hide and help behind-the-scenes and learn, and I can’t wait to see what takeaways and applications I can glean from this book.
Discover how you can create a clear and compelling vision to grow your organization…You know you need to prepare for the future of your organization, but the future can feel big and foreboding. How do you prepare? When will you find the time? What will the future even look like? The future of your organization doesn’t have to fill you with fear. You can lead your organization into a better, more exciting future with a clear and compelling vision. The Vision Driven Leader will help you grow your organization using a simple, attractive, inspiring, and practical vision of the future. – Book description

Being a life-long learner and bookwormish means I read some pretty random things sometimes. I mean, if I run out of stuff, I read the backs of cereal boxes or car magazines. Sometimes it doesn’t even matter if it is stuff I agree with or not. I really think we can learn something from everything.
📚 *The Vision Driven Leader by Michael Hyatt
The book answers a series of 10 questions that will help readers (me) see how vision drives everything that comes after it, drafting a vision script, and then some ways to face possible challenges that may be ahead so that we can keep going. Typical of books by Michael Hyatt, there will be case studies, personal stories, and research/stats.
There you have it, my book for March 2021. I’ve also been pre-reading a few books for launches as well as other highly recommended reads so you’ll probably see them here and there on social media. Follow along on my FB page and/or IG account for some inspiring quotes or more of my thoughts as I read.
