Guidelines to make our book club the best book club ever!
- Hold a posture of learning.
- Assume clubbers have good intentions.
- Read with curiosity.
- Take action toward growth.
- Share questions and reflections.
- Make time for reading.
- Plan to post at least once a week in the group and comment on other members’ posts.
- Respect. Don’t share others’ personal information or stories without their permission.
- Find integrations/connections with the world around you.
- This is not Fight Club. Please feel free to talk about Book Club. Often.
Best practice for posting in the book club group:
- Start the post with your topic
- Question
- Thought
- Quote
- Share which chapter or page you’re referring to
- NO LINKS!
- For the middle-grade fiction books, please do not share anything beyond where we are in the recommended schedule. DO NOT GIVE SPOILERS please and thank you.

I really resonate with the story that the author shared in Chapter 7. Something like that happened to me when I was in elementary school and a classmate made fun of the food I brought for lunch. It really hurt my feelings and I can’t think about that food now without thinking about what happened.
