I used to take a lot of time to curate a good list of books to read. But what I realized was that I gravitate toward certain types of books. Two-ish years ago, I decided to read books that others have recommended. They have been so random. There are some I have enjoyed and others I didn’t like. Although I have managed to finish most, there have been 2 or 3 that went to my DNF (did not finish) list. This year, I am trying to read all the Read With Jenna book club list books. I also saw that the San Leandro Library had a reading challenge on Beanstack. I decided to take the challenge and it has been fun to get out of my typical reads. I needed 12 badges (books) to receive the prize so I have to pick it up. The last badge is for reading a book in the second half of the year but I’m waiting on Augmented to come out in September.
